Wednesday, iPat film series presents “Chasing Ice”

And while we’re talking reminders, here’s a friendly one that Public and Environmental Affairs and the PEAC student group are hosting the next installment in their iPat film series at 7 p.m. Wednesday (April 24) in Phoenix B at the Union. The Academy Award-nominated film “Chasing Ice” is the story of one man’s mission to gather undeniable evidence of climate change. Using time-lapse cameras, his videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate. As always, admission is free and the film is open to the public. More info.
