Emergency official: UW-Green Bay drill is best he’s seen

Kudos to the campus community for pulling off what Brown County’s top emergency official termed “the best drill I’ve participated in” during his decade-long tenure here. Emergency Management Director Cullen Peltier made the comment to WFRV, Channel 5 news after last week’s statewide tornado drill, which he observed from our own University Union. WBAY, Channel 2, also was on hand to document the drill, and both stations outlined the multiple ways — GB Alert texts, emails and computer and public address notifications — in which UW-Green Bay kept the campus informed.
