Another CATL call: This one for May 11 ‘peer evaluation’ workshop

The herd over at CATL — the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning — is reminding faculty members to pre-register for the “Peer Evaluation” workshop on May 11. The session led by visiting speaker is Dr. Sarah Noonan will address the clinical observation process, including conducting a pre-conference, identifying observation goals, selecting instruments to assess performance, observing an episode of teaching, analyzing observation data using criteria related to productive teaching, making a preliminary evaluation of performance, conducting a post-conference, making a final judgment (including identifying commendations and goals for professional growth), and writing a descriptive narrative report of findings.
