Correction: ‘Dreaming of Forests’ premiere is in University Theatre

Apologizing for the error but appreciating this one final chance to promote the world premiere of a brand-new play, we inform you that the curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday, April 21) on the UW-Green Bay Theatre program’s production of the eco-comedy “Dreaming of Forests,” and that curtain is located on the stage of the University Theatre, in Theatre Hall. (If you see would-be theatre goers knocking on the doors of the Weidner Center, in the vicinity of the Jean Weidner Theatre across the street, wave them in the right direction, as they apparently read one of our earlier publicity announcements but not this correction.)

The play follows ad man Charlie Folsom’s dilemma when he is given Senator Bargul’s account to sell the alleged upside of the effort to “re-purpose” a national forest as a “Green Energy Zone.” His best friend Mika, an artist, is working with the environmental agency determined to stop the project.

Tickets will be available at the door or, actually, the second-floor box office in Theatre Hall. Additional performances are April 22 and 27-30. For more on the play, click here.
