Good Times Programming celebrates 50 Years!

Originally founded in 1972, Good Times Programming has been celebrating their 50th anniversary during the Spring 2023 semester. The celebration continues with the End of the Year Celebration on Friday, May 5. Activities will take place at the Shorewood Center clubhouse and surrounding area. The fun kicks off at 4 pm with carnival games, henna, a caricaturist, food, a DJ, and a 360 degree photo booth.

The Camo Color Run (coordinated by Veteran Services) will begin at 5 pm, and food truck Caribbean Cruiser will be present with food to purchase. At 7 pm, Boy Band Review will take the stage in the Shorewood Center parking lot with a live performance. This all leads up to the fireworks starting at 9 pm. People are encouraged to watch the fireworks from the Shorewood Center or the Studio Arts parking lot.

If you’re looking for someone to interview regarding GTP – Grant Winslow would be a great contact as he was the Advisor for 23 years. Everyone who has worked for Good Times Programming over the 50 years is being recognized with the commemorative logo pictured above.
