Webinar viewing party on assessment, Monday, April 17
A viewing party of the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) webinar, Beyond the “A” Word: Assessment that Empowers Faculty to Take Risks with Pedagogical Innovation, will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 in Cofrin Library 125. Discussion topics will include:
- Faculty engagement
- Assignment design
- Distribution requirements
- Assessment of general education learning goals; and
- Linking assessment to accreditation
The webinar will also highlight AAC&U’s recent report, On Solid Ground, which outlines the first two years of data collection for the VALUE initiative, a nationwide project that examines direct evidence of student learning.
