Join prof. Jon Shelton for a student led teach-in on labor history in Wisconsin

Join Prof. Jon Shelton’s ‘US Labor and the Working-Class: Past and Present’ class for a teach-in on labor issues this Thursday, April 13, from 12:30-1:50 pm in the 1965 Room of the University Union. Part of a national movement for teach-ins on campuses across the country called ‘Labor Spring’,  this student-led teach-in will feature a brief look at labor history in Wisconsin followed by a panel discussion of different workers, including a Starbucks employee and Kim Kohlhaas, President of American Federation of Teachers-Wisconsin.

This event is open to all faculty, staff, students, and members of the public.
