Service Learning Webinar

CATL is issuing a call for anyone interested in attending a free “Teaching Professor Webinar” next Wednesday (April 14) from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 1034 of the Instructional Services Building. Topics will include what service learning is and is not; key principles of service learning; choosing meaningful experiences, readings and reflections; and measuring students’ contributions to community organizations. Presenter Dr. Barbara Jacoby is author of several books including “Service Learning in Higher Education: Concepts and Practices.”
