Prof. Emmanuel Esguerra, a scholar from The Philippines who is currently a guest faculty member at St. Norbert College, will lead a presentation at 7 p.m. next Monday (April 4) on that campus. The title of his talk is “When Skills Have Wings and Mothers are Global: The Filipino Overseas Worker and Philippine Society.” The talk will be given in the Fort Howard Theater (which is in the Bemis International Center). The program is co-sponsored by the International Visiting Scholars Program, which is a joint program between UW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College. Members of the campus community are encouraged to attend the lecture.
