Deadline Approaching: Winter 2021 faculty-led Travel Course proposals (changes & updates)

From the Office of International Education:

The Office of International Education (OIE) hopes that everyone is safe and healthy and is adapting to our new online reality. Our office is looking forward in both planning for future programs and working with faculty across our campuses to continue to bring international experiences to students once it is safe to do so.

We wanted to still encourage interested faculty leaders to submit a completed proposal to their academic chairs. Leading a course is a great way to connect with students and give them new and unforgettable experiences as well as a way to expand your horizons as well!  The OIE is here to answer your questions, provide resources, and connect you with veteran faculty leaders if you are interested.  Details and a link to the proposal form can be found on this website.

In light of these stressful time, the office can accept late proposals until April 15, 2020.  (in order to guarantee we can promote the program to students before the end of the semester).  We can also accept electronic approvals from academic chairs and deans. Please have approvals (with original proposal attachment) sent by email to Jemma Lund (assistant director of Study Abroad) at lundj@uwgb.edu. Any questions regarding faculty-led travel courses can be directed to her as well. Thank you and be well!
