EMBI co-sponsord Wisconsin premiere of ‘Saving Pelican 895’

The UW-Green Bay Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) is partnering with the St. Norbert College Peace and Justice Center to host the Wisconsin premiere of the HBO film “Saving Pelican 895,” on April 7 in the Fort Howard Theater at the F.K. Bemis International Center. The evening will begin with a reception starting at 6:30, followed by the film at 7:15 and a post-screening panel discussion. “Saving Pelican 895” documents the extensive and often-heroic effort to save thousands of oiled birds affected by the oil rig explosion off the coast of Louisiana in 2010. This event is free and open to the public. More information: www.snc.edu/go/pelican.
