AIC seeks help in promoting networking event

Deborah Rezac, diversity director in the American Intercultural Center, wants faculty and staff members to know their help is welcome in promoting a special networking event set for Thursday evening, April 1, at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. The event will bring together students and multicultural professionals from the local community. About two dozen professionals and nearly that many faculty/staff allies have already expressed their intention to participate. Rezac says staff and faculty across campus can remind multicultural students of the unique opportunity. Direct RSVPs and questions to Rezac at ext. 2720.

AIC event includes resume-writing contest and more
The goal is to provide an opportunity for UW-Green Bay students of color to meet professional role models from the Green Bay area who work in various fields and industries. Organizers say the April 1 networking event on campus, hosted by the American Intercultural Center, will also include useful “how-to” experience for students in career planning and development; a resume writing contest is one of the activities associated with the event.
