Prepare for the upcoming transition to Canvas with help from CATL
Not everything in D2L will work in Canvas. The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning will help prepare for the upcoming transition to Canvas through the following workshops and learning sessions. The “Prepping Your Course” series of workshops will help instructors ready their course for the transition to Canvas. The workshops will take place on:
-Tue. 3/20, 11:05 to12:55 a.m. in LS 102
-Fri. 3/23, 8 to 10 a.m. in MAC Hall 122
-Tue. 3/27, 2 to 4 p.m. in CL 109-B
-Wed. 3/28, Noon to 2 p.m. in IS 1004
There will also be a “Welcome to Canvas” Session conducted by a trainer from Canvas and will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in room 304 of the Cofrin Library (the third-floor computer lab). It will be divided into two parts (attend one or both):
- The morning session, held 9 a.m. to Noon, focuses on navigation, organization, and getting to know Canvas.
- The afternoon session, 1 to 4 p.m. includes demonstrations of specific tools within Canvas. This session focuses on the “How To.”
Please email catl@uwgb.edu if you are interested in attending one of these workshops. Check www.uwgb.edu/dle for dates, times and locations as they become available.
