Philosophers’ Café meets Thursday on ‘Just War’

David Duquette, professor of philosophy at St. Norbert College, will lead a discussion on Just War Theory when Philosophers’ Café returns to Kavarna Coffeehouse from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (March 8). Topics will include the requisite just cause to go to war, the justice required in waging war as well as terrorism, the use of torture, and indefinite detention of enemy combatants. Open to all.
