The group that performed the Miles Davis’ Birth of the Cool program for the UW-Green Bay’s 6:30 series in November will be repeating the concert at the Blue Opus (Bellevue) on Thursday, March 1 for two shows: 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. The band is made up of UW-Green Bay faculty, alumni and friends. The November show was so popular that more than 100 fans were turned away. These two shows are ticketed ($15 per person) and are limited to 100 people each. Tickets can be purchased here for the 6:30 performance and here for the 9 p.m. performance or by visiting the Blue Opus website. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the UWGB Jazz Studies program.
