The Greater Green Bay P.E.O. Chapters have announced the availability of scholarships for Brown County women. Qualified applicants are high school graduates, have had their education interrupted and have re-entered or wish to re-enter a post-secondary institution. The grants will range up to $7,000 and are need based. The scholarships will be awarded according to financial and educational information requested in the application. Last year, grants awarded to women in Brown County totaled $59,000. Applications are available from UW-Green Bay’s financial aid office or by requesting a scholarship application from Georgia Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org. Completed applications must be postmarked no later than April 21, 2017. Funds for these grants are made possible from the proceeds of the annual P.E.O. Gallerie of Shoppes held this past year on November 5th at the KI Convention Center.
