Look for Log coverage, and budget blog, after today’s ‘town hall’
The proposed state budget and prospects for a $150 million cut in annual taxpayer support for the UW System will be the topic of a town hall meeting at 2:30 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 9) in Phoenix Room B of the University Union. Chancellor Gary L. Miller will open the discussion. The Log will offer a very general recap afterward. Additionally, it is expected that Chancellor Miller will publicize the online address for a new budget Q&A section at his chancellor’s website, to be used as a forum for continuing today’s dialog.
