UW-Green Bay will welcome soprano Yuka de Almeida Prado for a Brazilian Arts Song Recital at 5 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 12) in Fort Howard Hall at the Weidner Center. The concert is free and open to the public. Prado, an assistant professor of singing at the University of São Paulo in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, will be coming to campus because of a meeting last summer with UW-Green Bay Music Prof. Sarah Meredith Livingston. Meredith Livingston spent nearly two weeks teaching and performing at a July International Choir Festival on the Brazilian campus, and in doing so met fellow professor and vocalist Prado. More on Prado and Sunday’s event.
