Honoree in business plan contest has UW-Green Bay, SBDC connection

Angela Lensch of Angela Lensch Gallery, Egg Harbor, took fourth place and $1,000 in the recent Northeast Wisconsin Business Plan Contest. The Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay, a co-sponsor of the competition, also has connections with Lensch. She is a graduate of the SBDC’s entrepreneur training program in Door County and works closely with SBDC adviser Chuck Brys. Ryan Kauth, director of the SBDC, credits Brys and entrepreneurism trainer Greg Gauthier for their work helping Lensch and others prospective business owners. Kauth say’s Lensch’s website is “incredible,” and worth a visit at www.AngelaLensch.com.

Entrepreneur Training is ongoing — ETP (the Entrepreneurial Training Program) is an eight-week business planning course offered by the SBDC for the 14th consecutive year in Door County. For the second consecutive year, sessions will also be offered for Shawano Country businesses (note:  It’s “country” and not county, because the Shawano brand covers both Shawano and Menominee counties). Greg Gauthier is the instructor for both the Shawano and Door programs.
