Support the University through social media

At UW-Green Bay, we rise together when we work as a team. Come learn how you can be an integral part of the University’s social media presence through this professional development opportunity!

The click-through rate on a piece of content is two times higher when shared on social media by an individual versus when shared by a brand (or a University, in this case.) Tapping into the power of engaged faculty, staff and student leaders who are eager to spread the word about UW-Green Bay helps strengthen brand awareness and spreads the UW-Green Bay story. Imagine: If 20 UW-Green Bay folks share with their 300 friends, that reaches thousands of people very quickly. Knowing social media algorithms prioritize connections with people, your voice is an important element of a thriving social media program.

Join us for social media advocacy training on Monday, Feb. 20 in person in the 1965 Room, Green Bay Campus or virtually (email to get link) to learn how to become an advocate for UW-Green Bay on social media. Two presentations will be offered: a session for faculty and staff and a session for student leaders. This training is applicable for those running University accounts or wishing to support via personal accounts.
