The first Global Studies event of the spring semester will be on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the 1965 Room of the University Union. The event features an important and timely discussion about the country of Bolivia, which continues to be in the news in the wake of the ousting of President Morales. This event is presented by our guest Prof. Gratzia Villarroel (St. Norbert College, Political Science), an expert on Latin American politics. Prof. Villarroel will update us on the situation in Bolivia and take questions about the present and future of this Latin American country in turmoil. The discussion is free and open to the public.
