Archives display of Packers history will get fans ready

Nice work by the people in University Archives on a nifty little display. They have gathered items that illustrate and celebrate the rich history of the Green Bay Packers. The display especially draws from archival holdings of cartoonist Lyle Lahey and the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, with plenty of vintage photographs. A unique record is that of the U.S. Weather Bureau showing just how cold it was on the day of the famous Ice Bowl! (It was cold. Very cold.) The display, assembled by Archives employee Dennis Jacobs, may be viewed any time at the 7th floor lobby of the Cofrin Library.
