Academic Staff professional development funds

Heard the expression “use it or lose it”? This could apply to the budget of the Academic Staff Professional Development Allocation Committee. Committee members are reminding all academic staff that monies are available for educational opportunities through June 30, 2011. If the budgeted dollars are not used by staff, they will be returned to the general university fund. How easy is it to apply for funds? Just ask Amy Henniges, Jennie McNeil and Gloria Meyer from the Counseling and Health Center. All three nurses were able to attend the Annual North Central College Health Conference in Eau Claire this past October with supporting dollars for travel expenses, conference registration and meals.
