Faculty works featured in Lawton’s ‘DIALOGUES’ show, starting Feb. 7
The Lawton Gallery in Theatre Hall will open its spring semester exhibition series with “DIALOGUES,” featuring works from four faculty artists, with a reception from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. The artists will offer brief remarks at 5 p.m.
Featured are Prof. Kristy Deetz (painting/drawing); Associate Prof. Sarah Detweiler (photography), Prof. Carol Emmons (art history/drawing); and Prof. Christine Style (printmaking/intermediate drawing).
The exhibit runs through Feb. 28, and will feature a series of gallery talks with the artists. The first such talk is scheduled from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and the dates and times for the other talks will be announced. Read more.
