Dietetic interns tackle mealtime game plans

Soup? Or Bowl? It’s being billed as “a game plan to tackle mealtime while scoring with nutrition. Whether in a soup or a bowl, your palate will be screaming, ‘TOUCHDOWN!’” UW-Green Bay dietetic interns will present healthy cooking demonstrations, Feb. 1, at A Woman’s Place (498-4205), Shawano Ave., Green Bay and Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Fox Valley Diabetes Education and Support Group, Fox Valley Technical College (800-362-9900).

On the menu: Black Bean and Pumpkin Chili, Lamb Tagine, Green and Gold Curry, Chunky Tomato-Fruit Gazpacho, BBQ Sirloin Bleu Cheese Salad, Honey Baked Black Mission Figs with Orange and Ginger.
