Phoenix, represent! Men’s basketball game to be televised on ESPNU

The Phoenix men’s basketball team will ride its Thursday (Jan. 26) victory over Valpo — which Green Bay knocked from a tie for first in Horizon League standings — into a Saturday (Jan. 28) home game against the Butler Bulldogs. ESPNU will televise the game, which tips off at 6 p.m. at the Resch Center, and the first 500 students in attendance will receive a free t-shirt — plus the chance to represent the home team on ESPNU. Don’t forget that every basketball game you attend earns you three points in the Phoenix Phanatics Rewards Program. Make a sign, paint your face green and white and get ready to pack the student section. Go Phoenix!

The indefatigable Phoenix women’s team maintained its perfect record Thursday (Jan. 26) notching its 18th win of the season (and 32nd consecutive victory) with a decisive 60-36 road win over Butler. The women next play at Valpo, tipping off at 1:35 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 28).
