Make a date with Mauthe: Center offers programs for spring semester

As we embark on a new semester, our friends at the Mauthe Center would like to remind the campus community about its numerous events and activities. Upcoming programs include the semester’s first installment of Tuesdays with Mauthe, a no-cost series designed to explore cross-cultural learning. The Feb. 5 event will explore Native American spirituality and creation stories, starting at 7 p.m. at the center. Two days later, starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, the Mauthe Center will present its annual Feast of Nations, designed for American and international students and community members to come together, learn and socialize. Doors open at 5:30, with dinner at 6. There is no cost to participate, and the event will include a table quiz, raffle prizes and a gift for all attendees. Visit www.mcenter.org for more information on these and other Mauthe programs, including weekly Eat Well: Dinner with a Cause events, Zen Meditation, Community Yoga and more.
