Our friends at Wisconsin Campus Contact are touting a high-quality, low-cost professional development opportunity for faculty and staff involved in community-based learning courses and outreach programs. A day-long workshop takes place in Wausau on Friday, Feb. 12. Dr. Robert Franco of Kapi’olani Community College, a national Campus Compact Engaged Scholar, will be the keynote speaker. The workshop is sponsored by UW-Extension and UW Colleges. The target audience is faculty and administrators involved in designing/supporting/delivering courses/programming for a highly diverse, commuting student body in the first and second year of college.
