Reminder: Your votes needed for Campus Kitchen Project contest

Here’s a quick and friendly reminder to vote early and often (once a day, anyway) for UW-Green Bay to advance to the next stage of the Campus Kitchen Project competition. As we told you here before, representatives from the UW-Green Bay Social Work program are working with the Feeding the Hungry and Reducing Waste student organization to bring a branch of the Campus Kitchens Project to UW-Green Bay — and they need your help. The Campus Kitchens Project partners with high schools, colleges and universities to share on-campus kitchen space, recover food from cafeterias and engage students as volunteers who prepare and deliver meals to the community. UW-Green Bay is a finalist in the competition for a $5,000 start-up grant, and needs your vote to advance to the next phase. You can check out (and share) the UW-Green Bay video on the project (visit http://www.campuskitchens.org/videos/) and vote once daily through Wednesday, Jan. 29. For more info on the program, visit www.campuskitchens.org.
