Have it in for buckthorn? Baird Creek group has a deal for you

Our neighbors with the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation are inviting the public to assist with removal of the invasive species known as buckthorn on the following dates starting at 8 a.m. at Triangle Hill (500 Beverly Road):

• Saturday, January 12
• Saturday, January 26
• Saturday, February 9
• Saturday, February 23
• Saturday, March 9
• Saturday, March 23

Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and cutting tools if they have them (no gas-powered or electric tools – just hand-tools, please) and will assist with cutting, treating and hauling plants away.
