Student Employee of the Year nominations

It’s Student Employee of the Year time, and nominations are welcome

    Nominations are being accepted for the fifth annual Student Employee of the Year celebration. Campus personnel can nominate an exceptional employee by submitting a nomination form located at www.uwgb.edu/financialaid/employment/seoty/index.asp. In addition to the form, you will be asked to submit a letter describing your outstanding student worker(s) in the categories of reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and uniqueness of contribution. UW-Green Bay nominees will be recognized, and the winner announced, at a ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, April 16.

Deadline is Feb. 16, and campus winner eligible for state award
Here’s the timeline for the Student Employee award program. (Please note: the campus selection then advances for consideration at the state and national levels; UW-Green Bay has had previous statewide winners).

    Nomination of Student Workers by supervisors – by Feb. 16
    Judging of nominations – completed by Feb. 27
    Campus winner submitted to State competition – March 2
    State winner selected and submitted to Regional competition – March 12
    Midwest winner selected and submitted to National competition – March 18
    National winner selected; observance of Student Employment Week – April 13–17
