The 13th Annual Faculty Development Conference takes place Jan. 22 in the University Union at UW-Green Bay. The theme is “Creative and Critical Thinking.” Keynote speaker is the renowned Craig E. Nelson, professor emeritus of biology at Indiana University and a Carnegie Scholar. His teaching papers address critical thinking and mature valuing, diversity, active learning, teaching evolution and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He was Outstanding Research and Doctoral University Professor of the year 2000 as determined by Carnegie/CASE. “You won’t want to miss this conference.
