Warming up on a cold day: ‘Avenue Q’ preps for regionals with Monday show

Here’s a friendly reminder that UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance, along with UW-Green Bay Music, will present a final, pre-festival showing of Avenue Q, the Musical at 7:30 p.m. Monday (Jan. 6) in the Cofrin Family (main) Hall at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Wearegreenbay.com critic-at-large Warren Gerds wrote about the performance in a Friday (Jan. 3) column, previewing it as a warm-up to the group’s upcoming American College Theatre Festival show. The regional festival also includes a scholarship competition for acting, Gerds writes, and five UW-Green Bay students are among the nominees.
