Thanks to UW-Green Bay student Anastasia Johnson ’21 (Education) for this semester-parting shot of a real whitetail deer peering back on UW-Green Bay’s deer sculptures. Johnson said she took the photo at about 6:45 on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The group of three bronze deer, titled “Doe with Fawns,” was a major gift from John and Dorothy Blair. Formally dedicated in 1989, the piece is by renowned wildlife sculptors William and David Turner. It is located along Nicolet Drive at the southwest entrance to campus and the Cofrin Arboretum.
