Education Outreach partners on course for prospective private and sport pilots

UW-Green Bay Education Outreach will once again offer its popular “Aviation and Aerodynamics for Private and Sport Pilots” course, beginning Monday, Feb. 9 and running weekly through Monday, April 6. The course, which takes place at the CAVU Flight Center in the Executive Air Building at Austin Straubel International Airport, allows community members ages 16 and older to learn about the aerodynamic principles and physics of powered flight, as well as to evaluate the field of aviation as a career or hobby. There is no prerequisite for the nine-week course, which will prepare students to take the Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot or Sport Pilot written exam. Our news release has additional information.
