Chancellor’s Veterans Reception – 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, Phoenix Rooms, University Union. Guest Speaker is Lieutenant Jon Logan. Logan serves with the Army Reserve 432d Civil Affairs Battalion in Green Bay. As founder of Motivation Innovation, LLC, he is also a professional speaker, trainer and coach who helps others reach their goals. Join Chancellor Miller and other campus leaders in showing appreciation for our veterans. Free and open to the public.

Recollections of Vietnam – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, Phoenix Rooms, University Union. Welcome the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 351 from Appleton, Wisconsin. Organizers hope to help them with their goal to “promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam Veterans; to create a new identity for this generation of Veterans; and to change public perception of Vietnam Veterans.” Chapter 351 will bring a large display of equipment, uniforms, pictures and music of the Vietnam era.  “Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another.”

Green Bay Athletics Military Appreciation Days – Green Bay athletics welcomes all veterans and service members on campus and in the community to Military Appreciation Days:

  • Women’s BB – vs. Elon Phoenix, 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Kress Events Center.
  • Men’s BB – Hosting the Northland College Lumberjacks, noon on Saturday, November 12, at the Resch Center.  Phoenix Hero Award presented at halftime.

Broadway Chevrolet Program – Broadway Automotive will help you give back to UWGB organizations that support our veterans and families. From Oct. 26 through Nov. 9, 50% of every oil change at Broadway’s Military Ave. and Ashland Ave. locations will go to support local military charities including Student Veterans of America UW-Green Bay and NWTC Chapters, along with 4th H.O.O.A.H. WI.
