Lasting ‘Color’: Good vibe from fun run remains

The good vibe from Sunday’s (Sept. 29) Color Run 5K just keeps coming on the campus of UW-Green Bay, where students, alumni and other participants say the event was a success — and they’ll be back.

The Fourth Estate, UW-Green Bay’s student newspaper, devoted a very colorful center spread to the event in its Thursday (Oct. 3) edition, sharing terrific before-and-after pics, a brief event summary and some of the social media buzz.

“So everyone in high school that went to the color run at UWGB, Don’t you wanna go to college there now? I know you do. It’s great,” tweeted one enthusiastic participant.

“Had a Lot Of fun At The Color Run 2day In Green Bay! Literally Look Like The Hulk!” another added.

Student Life program coordinator Grant Winslow said he received plenty of positive feedback from grads and others about the campus and the run.

“Alumni were gushing on social media about how well the event turned out,” Winslow told the paper.
