Minnesota reciprocity deal is is tweaked, re-upped

Wisconsin students who attend most Minnesota schools in the years ahead will have to pay an additional $1,400 or more annually in tuition under an agreement the two states have signed off on. The changes would affect future students, but not current ones or those who enroll in Minnesota schools by this fall. The changes preserve the in-state Minnesota rate for Wisconsin residents but curtails the individual subsidy that has always existed to help offset our sister state’s higher rates. Read more.
