Register for the fall kickoff event: Becoming a Student-ready University

Register for the fall kickoff event for the new academic year: “Becoming a Student-ready University.” Join us from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Aug. 23 (the afternoon following 2017 Fall Convocation) for a keynote and workshop with Tia Brown McNair, the Vice President in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Student Success at Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). Instead of focusing on student preparedness for college (or lack thereof), McNair asks the more pragmatic question of what are colleges and universities doing to prepare for the students who are entering their institutions? What must change in an institution’s policies, practices, and culture in order to be student ready? After a keynote presentation reflecting on these shared challenges, McNair will help facilitate a workshop designed to help all areas of campus consider how they may ensure our campus is ready to meet the needs of all students in our community. The event is open to the entire UW-Green Bay community. Register now for this exciting professional development opportunity!
