A UW-Green Bay alumna and former student-athlete Allie Thut ‘11 won the Green Bay S.O.U.P. (Support of Urban Projects) contest as part of Current Young Professionals’ YP Week. S.O.U.P. is an initiative in which attendees vote on a project to fund after hearing presentations from multiple groups using grant dollars and an event attendee fee. Thut is leading the charge for an off-leash dog exercise area in Whitney Park neighborhood, Green Bay, under the project name “Bark for the Park.” Her project won $1,000 as part of the event.
