CATL announces two programs

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) will host two programs this week:

On Friday, Feb. 23 from Noon to 1:30 p.m. in MAC Hall 201, Lindsay Bernhagen, director of the Center for Inclusive Teaching at UW-Stevens Point, will facilitate a discussion of the emotional labor required of instructors and how this work can be recognized and supported on campus.

Monday, Feb. 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in MAC Hall 201, professors Kate Burns and David Voelker will lead the first of two book discussions on Cia Verschelden’s Bandwidth Recovery. Please attend even if you have not finished the book, as the discussion will focus on strategies and interventions that support the rebuilding of the available cognitive resources students need to succeed in college.
