Social Work earns eight-year renewal of accreditation

Congratulations are in order for the UW-Green Bay Bachelor’s in Social Work program, chairperson Jolanda Sallmann and program faculty. The Commission on Accreditation for the Council on Social Work Education voted Friday to reaccredit the baccalaureate program for eight years. The Commission is responsible for developing accreditation standards that define competent preparation, and ensuring that social work programs meet them. The multistep accreditation process involves program self-studies, site visits, and extensive review by the Commission on Accreditation.
