Tenzer lands first national ranking as Phoenix men’s tennis player

Congratulations to UW-Green Bay senior Michael Tenzer, who this week has become the first men’s singles tennis player in program history to be nationally ranked. Tenzer is No. 77 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Men’s National Singles Rankings for the week of Jan. 6. Said head coach Mark Thomas. “Michael had a great fall with wins over the ITA Midwest Regional Champion, Mikael Torpegaard from Ohio State, and blue chip recruit Logan Staggs from Northwestern. He continues to set the bar high.” Tenzer is the defending, back-to-back Horizon League Men’s Tennis Player of the Year. To see the full Top 100.
