SBDC at UW-Green Bay spreading word about Startup Weekend Green Bay

The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay is looking to get the word out about the second annual Startup Weekend Green Bay, taking place Friday-Sunday Feb. 6-8 in the Corporate Conference Center at NWTC. The SBDC is a media sponsor for the event, described as a “54-hour frenzy” of business model creation, coding, designing and market validation. Participants pitch their startup ideas and form teams around their favorites, presenting to entrepreneurial leaders at weekend’s end. The inaugural Startup Weekend Green Bay took place Feb. 21-23, 2014, when approximately 45 participants on nine teams presented to judges during the culminating Sunday Demo Day event. More than 1,500 Startup Weekend events have taken place in 726 cities worldwide since the program’s inception. Visit their website or check our press release for additional info.
