UW-Green Bay’s Jump Start program aims to help multi-cultural students on campus

Jump Start is a seven-day preparatory program for first-year students from multicultural backgrounds interested in learning how to be successful at UW-Green Bay. Students explore resources available to them, deepen their campus connections and learn more about the Green Bay community.

2019 js3This year, 33 students are enrolled in the program. Rosa Serrano, a MESA multicultural advisor, says that students who go through the program are acclimated more quickly to the University and often take on leadership roles.
