Associate Prof. Luczaj a key source for story on arsenic in drinking water

The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, WisconsinWatch.org, wrote an extensive piece recently on arsenic in Wisconsin wells, and notes the work of UWGB Associate Prof. (NAS, Geoscience) John Luczaj, who has documented numerous contaminants in Wisconsin’s groundwater. “We have an arsenic hot spot in Wisconsin,” Luczaj was quoted as saying.  Because of  “the interplay between geology and human activity, private wells whose water previously tested fine for arsenic may lose their integrity,” he said.
