Prof. Sarah Meredith Livingston (music) was a member of the international jury for the 51st International Dvorak Voice Competition in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, Nov. 3-12.  She was the only American of the 11 judges and heard and evaluated more than 120 singers from 15 countries. Singers receiving $1,000 prize in the name of UW-Green Bay and Sharon Resch Foundation were Blanka Jilkova, Czech Republic; Patricia Janeckova, Slovakia; Ivana Partir, Czech Republic; and Tereza Horejsova, Czech Republic. Also present at the competition was Antonin Dvorak III, the great-great grandson of the world-renowned Czech composer, Antonin Dvorak, and the composer for whom the competition was named.
