Faculty note: UW-Green Bay student and professor research published in peer-reviewed journal

University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Prof. Gaurav Bansal (Cofrin School of Business) and undergraduate student Noah Redfearn’s research on how embracing environmental stewardship can help companies recover trust after a data breach was recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Midwest Association for Information Systems (AIS). The paper is titled “Trust Violation and Rebuilding After a Data Breach: Role of Environmental Stewardship and Underlying Motives.” Last May, the research was awarded the Best Paper Award at the Conference of the Midwest AIS held at UW Oshkosh. Redfearn was also invited to present the research at the “Research in the Rotunda” held at the Wisconsin Capitol Building in April.
