Ping Pong Drop, the 360° photo, and Grand Prizes
The Phoenix Bookstore is having some fun with the 360° launch, and you are the beneficiary. Anyone who participates in the 360° photo in the quad at noon this Wednesday (Nov. 14) can take part in the Ping Pong Drop. Everyone gets a ball, and everyone (faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends) can claim a prize at the Bookstore. Just show up in the quad (between the union and the library) at noon to take part in the fun. The Grand Prize? If a student wins the grand prize, he or she will receive free textbook rental for a semester. If a faculty, staff or community member wins, he or she will receive a free T-shirt a month for six months! Other prizes include t-shirts, hats, water bottles, caps, Frisbees, etc… Phoenix Bookstore Manager Patrick Sorelle says it will be well worth your time.

360° video premiere
Immediately following the Ping Pong Ball Drop, Mr. and Mrs. Phoenix will escort people to the University Union where Chancellor Tom Harden will introduce the one-minute video produced by marketing firm BVK. The video highlights the UW-Green Bay experience, with a cast of dozens (hundreds?) of faculty, staff and students in starring roles. Estimated start time: about 12:20 in the Cloud Commons atrium area.

Free food, refreshments and photo booth
Everyone is welcome in the Cloud Commons area between noon and 1 p.m. for free food and refreshments and a few give-a-ways. You can also participate in a photo booth — bring your friends, peers and staff for “360° of us.” You keep a photo strip and the photogs keep one for a sphere of photos that will be built as photos are taken.

Fitness 360°
Student Tayler Zajac is leading a 360° fitness effort at the Kress Events Center for faculty, staff and students. Beginning Monday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 18, walk or run as many times as you can around the Kress indoor track and log your laps at the front desk. The drawing winner will receive an individual or group personal training session. Consolation prizes for the top placers include t-shirts and water bottles.
