Last call before the holidays: flu vaccine

There is still time to protect yourself, before you get cooped up inside this holiday season with a bunch of well-meaning but virus-carrying strangers, friends or family members. According to the Centers for Disease Control, flu season usually peaks in January and February and the best way to prevent the flu is to get vaccinated. The vaccine protects against the three viruses that research indicates will be the most common this season. Call the Counseling and Health Center at 2380 to set up an appointment to get your vaccination. The cost is $20.
